The Carillon Classic 5K Run & Walk features what many consider Florida’s most challenging 5K course where runners experience elevation changes and a variety of running surfaces, including paved roads plus grass, gravel and mulch trails. The Carillon Classic was established in 2012 as a charity fundraiser by the Dick Pope/Polk County chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). Over the five years FPRA managed the race, it drew 2,000 runners and raised $20,000 for charity. REGISTER HERE!!

MilesMoffitt5K 190x190
Since 2006, the annual Miles for Moffitt event has been a great way for the Tampa community, and friends from all over the country, to come together for fun, fitness, and to support lifesaving cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Every dollar ever raised through registration fees and donations — more than $3.2 million so far! — has gone directly to empower our scientists and researchers to do the work that is uncovering cancer’s secrets, developing new and more effective treatments, and bringing closer the day when cancer is no longer a diagnosis to be feared.
The 12th annual Miles for Moffitt will be on Saturday, May 13 at the USF Sun Dome. Whether you run, walk, use a wheelchair, want to volunteer, or just want to donate in support of a participant, we’d love to have you be a part of this great event!! REGISTER HERE!!

Lakeland Runners Club 22nd Annual Watermelon Series
Saturday, June 10th, July 8th, and August 12th at 7:00 a.m.
Watermelon Series Logo
The Summer Sunrise Watermelon Race Series was born out of a desire to have low-cost local races during the hot summer months, when it can be hard to stay motivated. Now in its 22nd year, the series has become an established venue for competition and an annual celebration of fitness. It continues to be popular with both experienced and casual runners alike. Many of the local high school cross country teams use it as a tune up for their season. The series is comprised of three 5K (3.1 mile) races, each race hotter than the last.   Your mission is to get faster with each race.  So ask yourself:  #CanYouBeatTheHeat
