Wendy Miller

Hi, I’m Wendy. Here is a little bit about me! I began running about 13 years ago after having my second child, with the encouragement of my runner husband. Like most new runners I did not like it and struggled with horrible shin splints. I came to FITniche to be fitted for a correct pair of shoes, and this changed my entire running life! I was able to run pain-free and this helped me to really start enjoying the miles. Since starting my running journey, I have completed many 5k’s and half marathons (my favorite distance). In 2013, I decided to train for my first full marathon. I had no intention of doing more than one but I found I enjoyed the distance training and went on to complete my 2nd & 3rd full marathon so far. I hope to continue to love running and be able to complete many more races! FITniche changed my life, and I love having the opportunity to encourage and help others!

Fast friendly service with a good understanding of what shoe I was interested in trying on. They let me get the shoe I wanted without trying to pressure me. I had gotten a set of Soucony Hurricane 22 online with FITniche to give me added support at work, I’m very pleased. I then bought a set of Brookes Ghost at the store in Lakeland for walking the dogs and relaxing in. Be sure to ask them about socks. I think they have opened my eyes to the fact they’re better socks in the world. Who new, FITniche.
